Embattled comedian Katt Williams disappointed fans in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday night after scrapping a stand-up gig just 15 minutes before he was due onstage.
The First Sunday actor gave failed to give a reason for the no-show, which took place days after cancellations in Houston, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Williams’ US tour has been plagued by problems following multiple arrests in recent weeks, and he even declared he was quitting stand-up earlier this month following a bar brawl in Seattle, Washington.
His managers promptly dismissed the claim and insisted he would be “moving forward with the tour”, but he became a wanted man on Wednesday after skipping a court hearing related to the alleged bar fight, for which he is facing charges of harassment, assault, and obstructing police.
Williams’ lawyer blamed his client’s absence on a “medical issue”, but failed to reveal any further details about the star’s condition.
