Veteran newsman Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick have called off their divorce.

Just days after the couple were photographed kissing in a car, the couple has asked a judge to dismiss its petitions for divorce.

They filed for legal separation in April after 13 years as man and wife, and then put split plans on hold after signing up for marriage counseling.

And now King and Southwick have decided to call off the divorce altogether and have filed court papers to put an end to the proceedings, reports

The news comes a week after the CNN anchorman confirmed reports he’s stepping down as the host of his long-running daily talk show, Larry King Live, to spend more time with his family.

In a post, the 76 year old TV personality wrote, “I talked to the guys here at CNN and I told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids’ little league games.”

King, who has two kids with Southwick, has been married eight times to seven different women.
