Kings Of Leon axed a gig in Houston, Texas on Saturday night – a day after frontman Caleb Followill walked offstage and abandoned his bandmates mid-concert.
The group cut short its show at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas on Friday when Caleb disappeared backstage after complaining about the heat and voice problems.

His brother, bassist Jared Followill, later took to his page to apologize for the fiasco, writing, “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed.”

The Sex on Fire hitmakers were then due to play at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston but they pulled out at the last minute, citing health problems.

A statement on the venue’s website explains, “Kings of Leon regretfully announce the postponement of tonight’s show at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Caleb Followill suffered from heat exhaustion and dehydration during last night’s Dallas performance causing his vocal chords to seize.”

The show has been rescheduled for 22 September.
