M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender was named and shamed as the worst Hollywood film of the year on Saturday after landing five dishonours at the Golden Raspberry Awards, which highlights the biggest box office blunders.
The film flop swept the board at the annual Razzies, a spoof of the Oscars, taking home worst director for Shyamalan, worst screenplay, worst film, worst supporting actor for Jackson Rathbone, and a special prize for terrible 3D misuse.

The Sex And The City sequel was also a big ‘winner’ – the movie, which was savaged by critics, took away three awards, including worst sequel, worst ensemble cast, and worst actress – shared by all four of its leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

Ashton Kutcher was branded worst actor for his performance in Valentine’s Day, while his co-star Jessica Alba was named worst supporting actress.
