John Lennon’s Imagine Peace Tower is lighting up the sky in Iceland.
The beam-of-light art installation on Vioey Island in Reykjavik launched on Thursday to belatedly mark the 30th anniversary of the late Beatle’s death.

The tribute tower can be viewed by fans as part of a live feed on the official Imagine Peace Tower website.

The rocker’s widow, Yoko Ono, who is encouraging fans and well-wishers to send messages of peace and love to the site, says, “It (tower) emanates wisdom, healing and joy.”
