Singer Adam Levine has signed on to executive produce a new sitcom.
The Maroon 5 frontman will help to develop an upcoming comedy series set in a karaoke bar for NBC, the same network behind hit talent show The Voice, on which he is a coach.

Casting details for the as-yet-untitled program have yet to be released, but Levine is not ruling himself out.

When asked about starring on the project during a Friday morning interview on the Today show, Levine replied, “Perhaps, I’ve not decided about that one yet.”

Bad Teacher filmmaker Jake Kasdan will direct and executive produce with the star.
