British singer Leona Lewis has ended her relationship with her childhood sweetheart, according to a new report.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker is said to have split from Lou Al-Chamaa after struggling to juggle their romance with her hectic work schedule.

Lewis, 25, met Al-Chamaa when she was just 10 years old and they have been a couple for more than a decade.

A source tells Britain’s Sunday Mirror, “Things have been under pressure for ages between them and they’ve finally realized that things are not going to be able to progress. Leona’s schedule means she’s in the States a lot when Lou’s in London. Then there’s the fact she’s been totally immersed in preparing for her tour. They’ve barely spent any time together whatsoever… She’ll always treasure her time with Lou but she knows it’s a relationship that’s seen better times.”

Lewis is currently performing her Labyrinth shows across the U.K., while Al-Chamaa, who previously worked as an electrician, is now scouting talent for a record label.

In a post on his Twitter.com page after the rumored split, he writes, “Do what you want (not) what society expects, live how you like not how other(s) like you to live. I walk alone, you may walk beside me but never will you lead. I’m just doing me…”
