Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to return to rehab just one day after leaving a treatment facility in California.
The Mean Girls star thought she had ended her court-ordered, 90-day rehab stint on Tuesday, when she left the Cliffside center, but facility boss Richard Taite has recommended to a judge that Lohan should attend three 50-minute sessions a week for the next 16 months to be successful in her recovery.
In a letter to the court, he writes, “If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure.”
The judge agreed, ordering Lohan to report back in November of next year.
In 2012, the actress was involved in a car accident that resulted in charges of reckless driving and providing false information to a police officer. In March, Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in rehab, 30 days of community service and 18 months of mandated psychotherapy.
