Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom Of The Opera sequel is to close in the West End at the end of the summer.
Love Never Dies suffered from bad reviews when it opened in March, 2010, and the show never fully recovered from the negativity, even though Lloyd Webber restructured the material during a four-night hiatus early in its run at the Adelphi Theater.

The curtain will come down, after 18 months, on 27 August.

Lloyd Webber has blamed the failure of the London run on his diagnosis and treatment for prostate cancer, which he underwent prior to rehearsals.

A reimagined version of the musical is currently a hit in Australia.
