Courtney Love is to open up about her marriage to Kurt Cobain, her family problems and drug issues in a new memoir.
The 47-year-old Hole star has signed a book deal with publisher William Morrow.

The untitled tome will be written with author Anthony Bozza.

Love hopes to use the autobiography to set the story straight about her drug problems and strained relationship with her daughter, Frances Bean, who was placed in the care of her grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, in December, 2009, as Love battled a series of legal and drug woes.

Publishers expect the tell-all to be a big hit and William Morrow representative Lynn Grady says, “Courtney is one of the most fascinating and provocative artists of our time.”

The memoir is scheduled to hit stores at the end of 2012.

New York City-based author and journalist Bozza has penned bestselling biographies on Eminem and AC/DC. He has also co-authored Slash, INXS, and Tommy Lee’s autobiographies.
