Rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd have postponed a series of dates on their farewell tour to allow guitarist Gary Rossington to recover from recent heart surgery.
Concerts in Las Vegas and California, scheduled for this weekend, have been moved to October.
Rossington, 67, had the procedure on 31 July to fix a leaking heart valve after complaining of fatigue.
The group founder underwent a quintuple bypass in 2003 and suffered a heart attack in 2015 that also affected the Sweet Home Alabama group’s tour schedule.
The guitarist is expected to be back on stage for Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 23 August show in Irvine, California.
