Veteran actress Shirley Maclaine was honored with a top award in France by the country’s culture minister on Monday.
The Terms of Endearment icon was the star guest at a ceremony in Paris, where she received the Legion of Honor medal.

MacLaine was given the award by the Minister of Culture and Communication, Frederic Mitterrand, and spoke of her pride at landing the national honor.

It’s the second award for MacLaine during her trip to France – on Sunday, bosses at the Deauville American Film Festival handed her a lifetime achievement prize for her longstanding movie career.
