Madonna is suddenly a big player in Middle East politics – her Israeli fans are begging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold off an attack on Iran until after the Material Girl’s upcoming concert in Tel Aviv.
A group of forward-thinking devotees have set up a page urging Madonna fans around the world to join them in their quest to make sure Israel is not at war with Iran when the pop superstar arrives in the country for her newly-announced show on 29 May.

The translation of the Hebrew Facebook page is ‘Bibi don’t start a war with Iran until after Madonna’s show on May 29’.

Bibi is a popular nickname for Netanyahu.

Fans fear that strife will prompt Madonna to cancel the concert like other international stars who have pulled the plug on gigs over safety fears.
