Maroon 5’s Girl Like You has become one of only six hits to log at least 30 weeks in America’s Billboard Hot 100 top 10.
The former chart-topper, which spent seven weeks at number one last year, holds firm at seven on the new countdown, giving Adam Levine’s band the chance to tie with Santana’s Smooth for 30 weeks in the top 10.
In Maroon 5 stay there for another weeks they’ll tie Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for 31 weeks – a feat they achieved in 2014 and 2015 with Uptown Funk, while Ed Sheeran leads the list with 33 weeks, thanks to his 2017 hit Shape of You.
Meanwhile, Halsey’s Without Me is back on top of the Hot 100 this week, replacing Post Malone and Swae Lee’s Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), which slips to two.
Another former number one, Travis Scott’s Sicko Mode, jumps back into the top three at three, while Panic! at the Disco’s High Hopes climbs to four and Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next drops to five.
On the Billboard 200 albums chart, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s Hoodie SZN spends a second week at number one, ahead of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, 21 Savage’s I Am > I Was, Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys, and Meek Mill’s Championships.
