Martin Scorsese is set to release a new concert documentary chronicling Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue tour in the mid-1970s.
The veteran filmmaker will revisit the show, which ran from 1975 to 1976, in the upcoming Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story. The Netflix project will feature appearances from Joan Baez, T-Bone Burnett, Mick Ronson, and several other artists.
Representatives for the streaming platform have described the film as “part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream”, while revealing exclusive interviews with Dylan will be part of the film.
Scorsese’s previously highlighted the iconic musician’s career in the 2005 documentary No Direction Home. He also directed the classic 1987 concert film The Last Waltz, which features Dylan.
