Disappointed Metallica fans ran riot in India on Friday after the heavy rockers postponed their first-ever concert in the country due to “technical problems”.
The band was set to headline the F1 Rocks concert in Uttar Pradesh and devotees began lining up outside the Leisure Valley venue hours before showtime to ensure a good view of their idols.

But they were left devastated when organisers announced the gig had to be postponed until Saturday – prompting fans to push past barriers and rush the stage to tear up posters promoting the event, reports

Metallica will now perform on Saturday, while Lady Gaga is also scheduled to take the stage this weekend to celebrate India’s first Formula 1 race.
