Sienna Miller picked up an honor in recognition of her humanitarian efforts at a Los Angeles awards gala on Tuesday.
The British actress took home the Global Activist Award for her work with the International Medical Corps (IMC) at the organization’s annual prizegiving at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel.

The Factory Girl star has been on trips to Africa and Haiti in her role as a global ambassador for the IMC, which aims to help victims of war, natural disaster and disease by providing healthcare services.

She says, “This is an organization that is very close to my heart. After seeing their courageous work up-close I was determined to become more involved. I am honored to be their ambassador.”
