British rockers Arctic Monkeys are unhappy with their billing at the upcoming V Festival in England – because they were hoping to perform alongside Rihanna.
Instead, the band will play on the alternate day of the two-site festival – and that means they’ll be performing in Staffordshire when the R&Bstar is onstage in Essex and vice-versa in August.

Rihanna will perform before headliner Eminem, while the Arctic Monkeys will top the bill at the other site – and the band’s frontman, Alex Turner, is not happy.

He tells the NME, “We were under the impression that we were playing after Rihanna. That were (was) a draw. They duped us.”

Drummer Matt Helders jokes, “They used her as bait.”
