Glee creator Ryan Murphy has dismissed reports the musical TV series is heading to the big screen.
Internet gossips flew into a frenzy after a report suggested the show, which stars Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch as feuding high school teachers, would be given the Hollywood movie treatment.

But Murphy insists the cast and crew’s main priority is producing a follow-up to their hit first season.

Murphy tells, “There will be no Glee movie in the foreseeable future. Despite overtures, I and the studio (Fox) have decided we want to put our energy into the second season with no distractions for the cast.”
