Pop stars One Direction have recorded a special video message for a fan who was seriously injured during a school shooting in Colorado last week.
Claire Davis was shot last Friday after fellow classmate Karl Pierson allegedly opened fire at Arapahoe High School, before turning the gun on himself.
Davis is currently in a coma in hospital, and after hearing about the 17 year old’s ordeal, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan decided to send a message of support to the teen.
In a recorded video, they say, “Hi Clair, we’ve heard you were a big fan and we just wanted to show you some love. What’s happened to you is actually terrible and something we can’t bear thinking about. So we just wanted to share some love with you. All our prayers with you and your family. Hope you get well soon. Lots of love.”
The video is not the only act of kindness the band has done recently – last Sunday, they surprised a group of sick children in London, where they made an appearance during a charity screening of their concert film, This Is Us.
