The female passenger involved in Sean Kingston’s jet ski accident at the weekend insists speed and poor judgement were to blame for the crash.
The Beautiful Girls hitmaker and pal Cassandra Sanchez were hospitalized in Miami, Florida on Sunday after Kingston lost control of their water vehicle and smashed into a bridge.

Officials have ruled out alcohol as the cause of the crash, and Sanchez, speaking out for the first time about the incident, admits the singer was simply driving recklessly and misjudged the height of the bridge.

She recalls to, “(We were going) really fast. (I kept saying,) ‘We can’t fit under there! Are we going to try and go under there? Sean stop!'”

Kingston, who was coughing up blood when medics reached him, was initially said to be in a critical condition as he underwent treatment in the trauma ward, but was subsequently moved to the intensive care unit on Monday after showing signs of improvement.

However Sanchez, who was largely uninjured, hints the star may be out of commission for a while.

She adds, “They have a tube down his throat so he can’t really talk, but he is lucid and understands what’s going on. (He’ll be in the hospital for) a couple more weeks.”
