Sir Patrick Stewart was forced to cancel a performance of his Broadway show this week after he was called back to the X-Men set in Canada for reshoots.
The Star Trek actor, who is currently starring alongside fellow Brit Sir Ian McKellen in a Broadway double bill of Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, had to step out of the spotlight on Tuesday.
Stewart had to fly to Montreal, Canada for additional work on X-Men: Days of Future Past.
McKellen, who also stars in the film, was not called back to the set.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to hit theatres in May.
