Pop star Paulina Rubio has filed documents requesting a major overhaul of the alimony she has to pay estranged husband Nicolas Vallejo-Nagera, insisting he’s capable of supporting himself.
The Mexican singer admits she is sick and tired of supporting her ex, who filed for divorce earlier this year.
In the court papers, obtained by, Rubio calls Vallejo-Nagera “a young, bi-lingual, highly intelligent and educated man, with degrees in business, and is physically active and healthy.”
She adds, “He has had his own businesses in the past; however, he has not sought gainful employment since he began living with his wife.”
The singer is asking a judge to order Nicolas to find a job, as well as pay her attorneys’ fees.
It’s the second legal battle Rubio is currently fighting – she was sued by her ex-assistant earlier this week after allegedly attacking him for purchasing the wrong plane tickets for a flight from Miami, Florida.
