Johnny Depp’s new movie Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is continuing to break global box office records – it’s sailed past the $400 million mark less than a week after its release.
The fourth installment of the hit franchise debuted with an international gross of $346.4 million over the weekend, making it the world’s biggest debut ever.

And film fans are still rushing to see the latest swashbuckling sequel – the film had surpassed $415 million globally by Tuesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On Stranger Tides beats the 2009 global opening record set by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ($236 million) in 2009.
