Singer Stevie Nicks has been forced to scrap a series of promotional appearances for her new album after she was struck down with pneumonia.
The former Fleetwood Mac star was due to perform live at New York’s Webster Hall and give TV interviews on the Today Show and Good Day New York to promote her upcoming record, In Your Dreams.

However, she has been ordered to stay in bed after falling ill with pneumonia and influenza.

In a statement, Nicks says, “I want to apologize to all my fans and hope that we can reschedule, and of course I hope you love the new album. It’s for you.”

But the singer will be able to catch Tuesday’s Glee episode from her sick bed – the show is a tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s iconic Rumours album.
