Rapper Post Malone has scored a transatlantic double by topping the U.S. albums chart with his new release Hollywood’s Bleeding.
The Rockstar hitmaker hit number one in the U.K. on Friday, and now he’s debuted atop the Billboard 200 with the second biggest sales week of the year – 489,000 equivalent album units.
The album also claimed 365.4 million on-demand audio streams for the week – the biggest streaming week for an album in 2019.
Hollywood’s Bleeding is Post Malone’s second number one album – beerbongs & bentleys hit the top last year.
Taylor Swift’s Lover holds the number two spot, while Melanie Martinez debuts K-12 at three.
Young Thug’s So Much Fun and Lil Tecca’s We Love You Tecca round out the new top five, while last week’s number one, Tool’s Fear Inoculum drops to seven.
The only other debut in the top 10 is country supergroup The Highwomen, whose self-titled first album bows at 10.
The band features Brandi Carlile and Maren Morris.
