Officials in Pete Postlethwaite’s home town of Warrington, north-west England have renamed a performance space in honor of the late star.
The veteran actor passed away in January and he’s been honored by town chiefs with the Postlethwaite Studio in the Pyramid Arts Center.

Local official Kate Hannon says, “Pete Postlethwaite always made Warrington proud through his distinguished work and immeasurable talent. I am thrilled that we can pay tribute to him in this way.”

Postlethwaite’s family is set to officially open the center on Friday night.
