Pulp Fiction stars Uma Thurman and John Travolta joined director Quentin Tarantino for a special screening of the movie at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Friday night to mark 20 years since its release.
The 1994 film won the festival’s top honour, the Palme d’Or, and the cast returned to the iconic event to mark the movie’s 20th anniversary with a special screening on the beach.
The trio introduced the movie from a makeshift stage on the sand, with Tarantino telling the audience, “I’ve seen Pulp Fiction under every circumstance a person can see it except this one. Now rip out a joint and light it up. Are we ready to get started?”
Organisers added to the relaxed atmosphere at the event by handing out slices of pizza to the crowd before the start of the film.
