Rapper Pitbull is making his acting debut in animated film Uglydolls.
The Timber hitmaker will voice a key character and will also write an original song for the movie, which will be based on the colorful plush monster toys created by David Horvath in 2001.
“It’s truly an honor to have the opportunity to… be involved with UglyDolls,” the rapper says. “The brand takes a fun approach to universal messages no matter color, culture or creed. These are themes I am passionate about, and our team is very excited about this partnership.”
The movie is set for release next year (19) and will be written, produced, and directed by Robert Rodriguez.
