Reese Witherspoon is donating 100 per cent of all profits from her Draper James stores on Friday to pal Dolly Parton’s literacy charity as a birthday gift to the country legend.
The actress announced the generous gift via Instagram beneath a shot of herself and her music idol.
“Few people in this world have touched my heart like Dolly,” the Big Little Lies star wrote. “She has been my inspiration all my life.
“Her kindness, her humility, her beautiful spirit. Help me wish @DollyParton Happy Birthday!!! In honor of this extra special Southern gal, 100% of today’s profits at @DraperJames will go to Dolly’s charity, @imaginationlibrary.”
All profits from sales at any of the four Draper James store locations or online will benefit Parton’s Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee, which provides free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school.
Dolly turned 72 on Friday.
