Reunited British rockers the Stone Roses’ reunion tour has been thrown into jeopardy after drummer Alan ‘Reni’ Wren stormed offstage during the band’s concert in Holland on Tuesday night.
The members of the cult group appeared to have put 15 years of acrimony behind them when they joined forces last year to announce plans for a 2012 summer tour across Europe.
They made a triumphant return to the stage in Barcelona, Spain on Friday night, but already their comeback has been marred following a walk-off at their third gig in Amsterdam.
According to online reports, Reni stormed off the stage following a bust-up with frontman Ian Brown at the Heineken Music Hall.
After he failed to return for an encore, Brown told fans that he had gone home.
Brown told the crowd, “I’m not joking, the drummer’s gone home. Get all your aggro (aggravation) out on me, I can take it. What can I say, the drummer’s a c**t.”
After the rocker left the stage, a venue DJ started to play music, prompting the disappointed revellers to boo and throw beer, according to
