Woodstock icon Richie Havens’ ashes were scattered over the site of the fabled 1969 music festival on Sunday.
The singer’s remains were dumped from a plane flying over the Bethel, New York farmland, where Havens performed his most famous gig.
The folk star’s friends Danny Glover and Louis Gossett, Jr. joined family members and friends at the ashes scattering ceremony, which took place on the 44th anniversary of the final day of Woodstock.
Havens died in April from a heart attack at the age of 72.
