Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell has been forced to scrap a series of stand-up gigs in Sarasota, Florida after undergoing emergency dental surgery.
The A League of Their Own star was due to kick off the first of five weekend shows at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre on Friday, but she pulled out of the performances on Thursday.
Apologising to fans via, she wrote, “Sorry Sarasota-have to go to NY to deal with my abscessed tooth. Had to cancel McCurdys-I will reschedule ASAP (as soon as possible).”
O’Donnell also shared four photos of her swollen cheek to prove she really was in pain.
The funnywoman, 51, is no stranger to health issues – she suffered a heart attack in 2012.
