Actress Sandra Bullock has settled a lawsuit with executives at a jewelry vendor over their use of her name to promote the sale of a watch.
The Gravity star sued bosses at ToyWatch in 2012 for advertising that a diamond-encrusted timepiece they were selling was worn by Bullock while filming The Blind Side.
The legal papers, filed in a California court, read, “(Bullock) will not voluntarily appear in print or other media for a company or product unless she carefully selects and believes in the company and product, and unless the compensation she receives is commensurate with the value of the exploitation of her name, image, identity, and persona.”
The parties have now reached an undisclosed settlement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bosses at the company are still facing a $2 million lawsuit from actress Halle Berry for associating her name with their merchandise.
