Revered British broadcaster Sir David Frost has died.
The 74 year old passed away after suffering a suspected heart attack while aboard the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship on Saturday night.
A statement from his spokesperson reads, “His family are devastated and ask for privacy at this difficult time. A family funeral will be held in the near future and details of a memorial service will be announced in due course.”
Starting his career in the 1960s, he was a noted interviewer and journalist, whose legacy includes his candid discussions with U.S. President Richard Nixon. The interview inspired the 2008 film Frost/Nixon, in which Michael Sheen played the broadcaster.
