Aaron Sorkin has edged ever closer to landing a Best Screenplay Oscar after winning the 2011 Scripter Award in Los Angeles.
The Social Network screenplay won Sorkin the coveted University of Southern California honor on Friday night.

Sorkin’s adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal is the favorite to win Oscar gold later this month.
