Stallone For Hollywood Film Festival Honor

Sylvester Stallone is set to be honored for his contribution to the movie industry at the upcoming Hollywood Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The Rambo star is to receive a career achievement prize at the event’s annual awards gala, which will take place in Beverly Hills later this month.

Organisers will also honor Sean Penn for his charity work, while Morgan Freeman will be feted for his contribution to technological innovations through his Revelations Entertainment company.

The Damned United moviemaker Tom Hooper will also receive a directing prize at the gala, which will be held on 20 October.
