Stars including Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell turned out to honor late stage and film producer Marty Richards at a charity gala in New York City on Monday night.
Richards passed away last year and stars gathered at The Edison Ballroom in Manhattan for a memorial event, which featured performances from a number of his hit Broadway shows including Chicago, La Cage aux Folles and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Friends including famed music producer Clive Davis paid tribute to Richards during the gala, hosted by Tony Award-winning actress Chita Rivera.
All proceeds from the event benefited The New York Center For Children, co-founded by Richards in memory of his wife Mary Lea Johnson Richards, who passed away in 1990.
