Natalie Portman, Elizabeth Banks, Mila Kunis, Eva Longoria, and Viola Davis will lead this year’s star-studded Women’s March Los Angeles on 20 January.
Ellen Barkin and Mary Steenburgen will also take part, while Andy Grammer, Idina Menzel, Andra Day, Rachel Platten, Maxwell, and Melissa Etheridge will perform for the activists raising awareness for women’s issues and equality.
Previously announced speakers include Scarlett Johansson, Sophia Bush, Laverne Cox, Lea DeLaria, Paris Jackson, Megan Mullally, Olivia Munn, and Olivia Wilde.
Women’s March LA Foundation leaders are using this year’s Los Angeles march to encourage participants to use their vote and make their voices heard at the midterm elections in November.
The march will begin at Pershing Square, Los Angeles.
More than 750,000 people marched with Natalie Portman, Kerry Washington, Mandy Moore, Jane Fonda, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Laverne Cox, Jessica Biel, Vanessa Hudgens, and Pink last year.
A similar event will take place at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on Saturday. The Respect Rally will feature speeches from Jane Fonda, rapper-turned-actor Common, moviemaker Ava DuVernay, and activist and lawyer Gloria Allred.
Over 3,000 people are expected to attend.
