Veteran actor Jeffrey Tambor will step into Kelsey Grammer’s shoes when the Frasier star bows out of Broadway musical La Cage Aux Folles in February.
Grammer and Douglas Hodge currently star as a gay couple in the hit show, which claimed three Tony Awards earlier this year, including Best Revival of a Musical.

But they will both bring their New York stage run to an end on 13 February and Arrested Development star Tambor will take over, opposite Harvey Fierstein in Hodge’s place.

Tambor and Fierstein will debut the new line-up at the Longacre Theater on 15 February.
