Singers James Taylor, Lyle Lovett and The Band Perry are set for a career milestone on Monday when they perform for President Barack Obama.
The stars will stage a show in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C. for an hour-long TV special, Country Music: In Performance at the White House.

Kris Kristofferson, former Hootie & the Blowfish star Darius Rucker and singer Dierks Bentley will also play at the gig, which is due to air on PBS on Wednesday.

Obama is set for a very musical holiday season – Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson and Cee Lo Green will perform for the leader next month at the annual concert Christmas in Washington.
