The Vaccines frontman Justin Young is to undergo throat surgery after problems with his voice forced the British band to axe a string of concerts.
The singer/guitarist underwent an operation in January and the Post Break-Up Sex hitmakers called off several concerts to allow him time to recover.

But the problems with his voice have returned, forcing the band to cancel shows in Holland, Austria and Northern Ireland earlier this month – and Young has now revealed he faces further surgery.

He says, “I have got to have another operation on my voice. I keep getting haemorrhages and I get lumps. It’s really disgusting but my vocal cords can’t shut properly and then I can’t sing.”
