Tom Petty fans who attended a concert on Saturday which was shut down by Los Angeles fire marshalls are to be given a full refund.
Safety chiefs declared the Fonda Theater show was over capacity and forced Petty and his group, the Heartbreakers, to cut short the gig after 90 minutes.
After meeting with venue bosses and promoters, the rocker has released a statement offering fans their money back for the incomplete concert.
It reads: “The satisfaction of fans is of paramount importance to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the band shares the frustration of the fans in attendance that evening who deserved to experience the entire performance.”
