Top Gun Director Tony Scott Dies In Apparent Suicide

Top Gun director Tony Scott has died in an apparent suicide. He was 68.
The Los Angeles coroner states that Scott jumped from the Vincent Thomas bridge near Long Beach, California on Sunday. His body was recovered from the water four hours later.
Scott, who is the brother of fellow director Ridley Scott, is famous for his hit action movies, including Tom Cruise classic Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop II, and the Enemy of the State.
He recently announced plans for a sequel to the Air Force movie.
Scott’s other projects include Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide and Unstoppable.
