Embattled British pop star Tulisa Contostavlos has pulled out of a headlining performance at a summer festival in England following her arrest on suspicion of supplying drugs.
The singer was taken into custody on 4 June and charged with the crime after she was allegedly caught on camera setting up a cocaine deal worth $1,240 for an undercover reporter from The Sun newspaper.
She was bailed pending further inquiries, alongside her rapper pal Mike GLC, who stands accused of selling the illegal substance, and now Contostavlos has decided to cancel her gig at The Big Summer Session 2013 in Swindon next month.
A festival spokesperson tells local paper the Swindon Advertiser: “It’s one of those things – it was out of our hands.”
Contostavlos has not appeared at any public events since the arrest drama unfolded earlier this month, although she did spark rumors of an N-Dubz comeback after she was photographed posing with her reunited bandmates in a picture shared online last week.
