A doctor accused of stalking country star Shania Twain at Sunday’s Juno Awards will stand trial in Toronto, Canada on Friday.
Dr. John Palumbo, 50, was arrested outside Toronto’s Air Canada Center, where Twain was being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during the annual awards show.

The physician was told to stay at least 500 yards away from the singer at a hearing on 7 March.

According to Canadian media reports, Palumbo has had a long-standing delusional obsession with the singer.
