Country star Keith Urban has marked his calendar for a return to performing after undergoing throat surgery in December – he’ll hit the Grand Ole Opry Ryman Auditorium stage in Nashville, Tennessee on 3 February.
Urban had a polyp removed from a vocal cord at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and he has been on vocal rest ever since.

His appearance next month will be his first public outing since he recorded a song for the CMA Country Christmas television special in mid-November, according to Access Hollywood.

He was forced to scrap his All For The Hall benefit concert this month and postpone tour dates when he fell ill in November.
