Usher’s $20 million herpes lawsuit has been dismissed.
Laura Helm accused the Yeah! hitmaker of infecting her with the sexually transmitted disease in July. She claimed she had two sexual encounters with the singer and alleged the father-of-two didn’t wear a condom. After their second tryst, Helm claimed she noticed a bump on the inside of her mouth and a similar bump on her vagina.
The singer denied Helm’s claims and according to TMZ, Laura’s new lawyer has requested for the lawsuit to be dismissed without prejudice.
The new lawyer, who signed on after her first attorney withdrew from the case, intends to refile the lawsuit, but it is unclear why the dismissal request was filed.
