Dita Von Teese has been immortalised on the side of a Virgin Atlantic plane to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the airline’s direct flights between London and Las Vegas.
Virgin boss Richard Branson posed with the burlesque star on the wing of the aircraft on Tuesday at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas as they unveiled a large picture of Von Teese emblazoned across the plane.

The image shows the star in a red swimsuit holding a British flag.

Before the unveiling, Von Teese updated fans with a string of posts on her Twitter.com page, writing, “Headed out to Las Vegas today…..Sir Richard is in charge, so I’m sure it’s going to be fun. Stay tuned!

“I’ve never actually walked on the wing of an airplane before… London to Vegas Virgin plane now has me as the flying lady painted on the side.”
