A man who accused Irish music manager Louis Walsh of indecently assaulting him earlier this year is facing jail after pleading guilty to charges of making false reports to police.
Leonard Watters claimed Walsh, who serves as a judge on Britain’s The X Factor, groped him at Krystle nightclub in Dublin, Ireland following a Westlife concert in April.

The TV star vehemently denied the allegations and the investigation was dropped after just four days.

Watters was charged with two counts of making false reports to cops, and in court in Dublin on Wednesday, the father-of-two admitted he had made up the claims.

He then apologised to Walsh from the witness box, saying, “I would like to sincerely apologise to Mr Louis Walsh for all the stuff I put him through. The allegation was false.”

Watters is set to be sentenced on 5 January. The judge warned he is facing a custodial sentence.
